BUSINESS EDUCATION STUDENTS' ASSESSMENT OF UTILIZATION OF E-LEARNING SOFTWARE FACILITIES FOR SKILL ACQUISITION, IN COLLEGES OF EDUCATION

Abstract

The study examined business education students' assessment of Utilization of e-learning software facilities for skill acquisition in Colleges of Education in Delta State. The Population of the study comprises 1,315 business education students in two colleges of education in Delta State. A structural questionnaire was issued for data collection. Three research questions' were raised for the study while
three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. Research questions were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation while t-test and ANOVA statistics tested at 0.05 level were used for the hypothesis. Consequently, the followings were among the Endings; the availability of elearning software facilities are tools for learning business education skills for self-employment in Delta State and That the usability of e-learning software facilities are vital for learning business education skills for self-employment in colleges of education in Delta State. From the Endings, recommendations were made to include; Tertiary institutions offering business education need to be
provided with e-learning software facilities by the appropriate authorities to enhance preparation of business education students for self employment; Computer and internet studies need to be integrated into the business education curriculum among others.
